<title>ARE YOU GETTING ENOUGH...</title>
<link>http://www.bexercise.co.uk/page12.htm#117463</link>
<description>Fibre is an important part of a healthy diet but its not always easy to obtain as much daily fibre as you need.
As part of a healthy diet doctors recommend consuming a minimum of at least 2035 grams of dietary fibre each day. Most people however get less than half that amount in their diet.ARE YOU GETTING ENOUGHFibre also known as bulk or roughage is a substance found in all plants that are eaten for food and it is essential for maintaining healthy intestines and colon.
Fibre performs important functions within the body.

Insoluble fibre absorbs water softens stools and moves materials through the intestines. It also helps to balance the pH acidity levels inside the intestines.
Soluble fibre binds with fatty acids and prolongs stomach emptying time so that sugar is released and absorbed more slowly. Fibre provides a host of benefits to several body systems and as most of us dont get enough fibre in our daily diet supplementation is a great alternative.

We also offer cholesterol amp glucose screening tests every 612 months. After the individual consultations we deliver a group Health TalkWorkshop. Topics covered include Breathing amp Hydration You are what you eat Stress Sleep Movement Matters and many others. We are always keen to ensure the talk is relevant to the listeners so we ask for feedback on which topics YOU would like covered.

<title>HOW TO MANAGE YOUR CHOLESTEROL</title>
<link>http://www.bexercise.co.uk/page12.htm#115472</link>
<description>Cholesterol is vital to ensure the bodys normal function. It forms part of the outer membrane that surrounds every cell. Its used to insulate nerve fibres and so make nerve signals travel properly and make hormones which carry chemical signals around the body.
However too much cholesterol in the blood increases the risk of cardiovascular disease heart attack stroke.
Good cholesterol highdensity lipoprotein HDL transports cholesterol away from the cells and back to the liver where it is broken down or excreted
Bad cholesterol lowdensity lipoprotein LDL transports cholesterol from the liver to the cells and tissues
It is essential if you have a cholesterol test you are given a breakdown of good and bad cholesterol. The ratio of these is far more use than a total cholesterol reading on its own.
If your ratio of good and bad cholesterol is not ideal here is what you can do to improve it
 Manage your diet
Increase fibre plenty of wholegrains fruit amp veg ...</description>

<title>EAT FAT AND LOSE WEIGHT</title>
<link>http://www.bexercise.co.uk/page12.htm#113918</link>
<description>GOOD fats are needed for everyday health and are NOT produced by our bodies. Essential Fatty Acids EFAs
turn ON fat burning and OFF fat storing on the body

improve cardiovascular function and joint health
the body needs a balance of omega 3 amp 6 to prevent hormone imbalances
 improve muscular development
 reduce inflammation
reduce fat cravings and fat storage lower LDL bad cholesterol and raise HDL good cholesterol
 aid in healing injuries
 improves concentration

If your body is lacking in essential fatty acids it will know it needs fat. Your body is more likely to choose the bad fats than the goodessential ones you actually need. <title>EAT LOW GLYCAEMIC FOODS</title>
<link>http://www.bexercise.co.uk/page12.htm#113657</link>
<description>Low glycaemic foods have a balancing affect on our blood glucose levels. Low levels of insulin make it easier for the body to utilise fats as an energy source therefore encourages fat burning.
High glycaemic foods cause blood glucose levels to rise more quickly providing a quick release of energy causing high levels of insulin to be produced to utilise and transport the sugar within the body. This is so quick your appetite is stimulated causing more energy cravings and a cycle of energy peaks and troughs followed by high glycaemic snacking.

The only way to break this cycle of high in glycaemic foods is to consume more low glycaemic foods.

Examples of LOW Glycaemic foods are apples fresh apricots figs amp dates berries except blueberries cherries kiwi pear most vegetables except root vegetables lentils peas amp beans nuts amp seeds.

<title>ABDOMINALS ARE MADE IN THE KITCHEN NOT IN THE GYM</title>
<link>http://www.bexercise.co.uk/page12.htm#113585</link>
<description>
You are what you eat
If you are consuming foods that are leaving you feeling bloated heavy tired experiencing heartburn and I.B.S they are signs that they do not work well with your body. It is advisable to reduce or cut out those foods for a few weeks and see how things improve.
No need for drastic diets for rapid weight loss. Simply avoiding the foods that dont make you feel great and full of energy should help rediscover the flat stomach or six pack you are desperately trying to get in the gym
100 sit ups every day will not achieve this Correct and controlled exercises carried out with good posture will achieve far better results.

<title>YUM... WHAT A DELICIOUS BREAKFAST</title>
<link>http://www.bexercise.co.uk/page12.htm#113022</link>
<description>
I love to start the day with protein which keeps my blood sugar levels balanced for the day. I have a great shake made with Syner Protein and a scoop of TNT which is packed full of fibre. Both products are also full of many essential vitamins and minerals so I know Im starting my day with the best quality nutrition I can.

I like to use this breakfast option as a quick and simple to prepare drink. If I am meeting a Client early and just need something to keep me going for a few hours this is a great gap filler.

Unfortunately many quick fix breakfast snacksbars are packed full of sugar. These leave you feeling unsatisfied and craving more filling your body with empty calories and gaining weight.

The nutritious shake I use tastes great and is packed full of energy which gives me a great boost for the day ahead.

Give it a try... I would be pleased to hear your results

<title>EAT PROTEIN FIRST FOR BREAKFAST</title>
<link>http://www.bexercise.co.uk/page12.htm#112052</link>
<description>
The name Protein was derived in the 19th century from the Greek word proteios meaning primary importance.

Hydrochloric acid which breaks down protein is released in the morning therefore eating it at this time helps its ability to be utilised by the body.

Eating protein for breakfast will reduce cravings aid concentration and stabilise blood sugar and energy levels therefore making better choices for the rest of the day.

Protein is important for
Growth maintenance and repair of body tissue and is part of every living cell skin muscles tendons ligaments hair nails bones and teeth
Digestion and extraction of energy from food
 Controlling blood glucose sugar levels
 Energy production

Whey protein drinks Whey comes from milk which goes through pasteurisation. This denatures and damages it depleting protein.
